He says he was “sick because I knew my neighborhood was burning” while he was talking to Rogan. He says the Santa Ana winds were just starting to pick up on Tuesday when he flew to Texas. but you should see that he described the devastation.

MG says: “You can put it on a plate” … referring to what’s left of his house, and when you see the video he shot of the place, we have to say his description is spot on.
He says another fire broke out 200 yards from the house last month, but this time the winds created a perfect storm that he says destroyed most of the homes in his neighborhood.
Mel says her incredible positivity comes from knowing her loved ones were unharmed in the fire, which killed at least 10 people.Remarkably, she says the chicken coop on her property is actually alive. left, or, as he put it, “They weren’t fried chickens.”
He’s lived in the house for about 15 years and says he lost a lot of “cool stuff” but knows he can replace it all. Despite the fire hazard, he plans to clean up the space with “great ocean views” and rebuild.
Whether or not he lives there, Mel jokes. “Hey, anyone want to buy some land?”
