“Instead of preserving, protecting and defending our established criminal justice system, the once-and-future president engaged in a campaign to undermine its legitimacy,” said District Attorney Josh Steinglass.

In what Steinglass described as Trump’s “pre-trial behavior before and after the trial,” Trump folds his arms and leans back. He shakes his head “no” when referring to Steinglass’ efforts to “undermine legitimacy.”

Steinglass also calls out Trump for “fostering contempt for our judicial system and the rule of law” and for being “relentless in his baseless attacks” on the court and prosecutors, including public threats to retaliate against them.
