A man is calling his elderly father-in-law a hero for his valiant efforts as they desperately fled the Pacific Palisades wildfire… especially since Parkinson’s disease makes it difficult for him to move.
Aaron Samson talked about their dire situation CBS Mornings After seeing smoke and flames outside her 83-year-old father-in-law’s house on Thursday, she knew they had to leave.There was just one problem: They didn’t have a car.

Aaron quickly ran down the street begging for help, and luckily found a neighbor who agreed to pick them up. He grabbed his father-in-law’s medicine and they jumped in the car.
But soon they were stuck in a dead end… and when the fire jumped dangerously close to another car, the police started yelling at everyone to get out of their cars and evacuate on foot.
That’s when you can see in Aaron’s video. her FIL, walker in hand, scurrying down the street as best she could… All thanks to Aaron’s constant encouragement, telling her that they should keep moving.
