Power Rangers actor Hector David Jr. is cooling his heels behind bars after he pleaded guilty and was sentenced Wednesday to assaulting an Idaho man last year.
Hector, who played the role of the Green Ranger in the superhero franchise, pleaded guilty to the felony in Canyon County Court and was sentenced to 180 days in jail … according to new legal documents.
The judge suspended 135 days of the sentence, meaning he will only have to serve 45 days, but must keep his nose clean when he gets out to avoid being behind bars. The judge also placed Hector on 2 years of supervised probation and ordered him to serve 100 hours do public work.
As TMZ first reported in July … Hector got into an argument with an elderly man who was using a walker in a parking lot in Nampa, Idaho, when the situation escalated, authorities say Hector pushed the man to the groundalthough he was not seriously injured.
Hector then jumped into his truck and drove off, but police later tracked him down with the help of the community, and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest. Prosecutors eventually charged Hector in late July.
