Elijah Wood wants a new ring… The Lord of the Rings star is now hinting to her longtime partner, Mette-Marie Kongsvedas his “wife,” seemingly confirming what TMZ learned about the NYE wedding.

Elijah was in the last episode of the show.Inside you“Podcast, and he told the host Michael Rosenbaum … “I am infinitely grateful for my family, my children and my wife.”
Rosenbaum also referred to Mette-Marie, a film producer, as Elijah’s wife, so it certainly seems like they had some sort of argument about her getting married.
Not much is known about Elia and Mette-Marie’s relationship, considering the two are known for their life together. The duo went public with their romance in January 2018 … later welcoming 2 children together, a son and a daughter.
Elijah also wore a ring on his left ring finger during the podcast that said “Daddy”.
Witnesses told us the couple tied the knot in Sweden on New Year’s Eve in what was described as an intimate ceremony with around 80 friends and family members.
We’ve reached out to Elijah’s reps for details and confirmation that they’re legally broken up… but nothing has come back yet.
