Harry Maguire’s last gasp in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool may not have been all it seemed, as new footage suggests Joshua Tsirkzi may have been offside.
As Maguire flared at the chance, the official lines used by the VAR team at Stokely Park were not applied to the broadcast of the game.
But informal lines are drawn Sky Sports the team determined that if Maguire had scored, the goal would have faced an extremely close offside decision.
And what we see was Zirkzee probably offside with left toes seemingly off the line of the last defender.
