Elton John says her eyesight is fine… just ask her Golden Globes host Rihanna — or, it is Brandi Carlile?
The singer-songwriter took the stage to present an award during Sunday night’s show … stepping out with country music star Carlile, and at first he seemed serious, saying he was going to address all the reports about his vision .
Elton tells the crowd that he’d like to talk about the constant reports of his regressive vision… explaining that the rumors are exaggerated and it’s not as bad as it sounds.
Then he adds: “I’m so happy to be here with my co-host Rihanna.”
Of course, Brandi Carlile and Rihanna are nothing alike…and the audience knows it.
As we reported … Elton announced that there is is recovering in September from a severe eye infection that severely limited his vision.
Months later, John told the audience In the UK, he did not get to see the premiere of the new musical “The Devil Wears Prada”, he also said in an interview he is stuck – hoping to go back to work, but he can’t because of his limited vision.

Looks like Elton is willing to laugh about his blindness … even as he’s still navigating life with his new challenge.
