Countless Royal Caribbean passengers may have had their privacy seriously violated by a former employee now serving 3 decades behind bars for child pornography … a lawyer for the perpetrator’s victims now claims.
Arvin Joseph MirasolWas a former flight attendant on the Mirasol cruise was sentenced to 30 years in prison Back in August in federal prison after pleading guilty to filming several underage girls, some as young as 2, while they undressed on the Symphony of the Seas cruise ships he worked on.
He is now accused in a class action lawsuit of filming hundreds of passengers without their knowledge … after installing hidden cameras in bathrooms.
He was first arrested in February after a young female passenger found a camera hidden under her sink on a Royal Caribbean cruise. When the ship returned to port, Mirasol was arrested. Investigators seized her devices, which included multiple videos of how children undress and take a bath.
Mirasol also admitted to spying on and recording the children while hiding under beds in the cabins, according to investigators.
A passenger had previously filed a lawsuit alleging that as many as 1,000 people may have been filmed by the Mirasol’s hidden cameras … and some of the footage was actually posted online.
We’ve reached out to Royal Caribbean for comment…no word back yet.
