Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford is doing everything he can to make sure he’s not the next athlete to be targeted in the latest string of thefts, TMZ Sports The Rams quarterback is said to have invited police officers and NFL security to check his Los Angeles area for possible weak spots.

Law enforcement sources tell us league officials and police met at the Super Bowl champion’s residence this month to find out about his current settlement … and provide advice and security measures on what his family can do to keep cheaters away from him. from targeting the vault.

Matthew Stafford

While Stafford himself wasn’t present, we’re told the NFL specifically asked police about the South American theft rings believed to be behind all the hits … and how they might be working together to make it more difficult for criminals : carry out their actions.

For example, officials are telling homeowners to make sure their ENTIRE homes have security alarms…not just the ground floor. They’re also telling people to remember not to leave ladders sitting around their property.

Officials have also received requests to patrol athletes’ neighborhoods more often, especially when they are out of town or in the middle of games.

As for the alleged culprits, what makes it difficult to find them is that their fingerprints and DNA do not appear in any US system.

Law enforcement agencies believe they use drones, surveillance, social media and public schedules to figure out when to hit their targets, Wi-Fi jammers to beat security and camera systems and leave no traceable DNA behind.

Theft gangs also use fake IDs to hire cars for their jobs… and when they leave with the stolen loot, they can be two states away the next day.

When they get their hands on the stuff, they fence some of it and take the rest back to South America.

Even when suspects are arrested, once they post bail, they have a history of going off the grid and returning home.

In other words, they are much more complicated than Harry and Marv.

As we reported earlier, mass names are similar Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and: Luka Doncic have had broke into their houses Over the past months… but Stafford is doing his best to distance himself from that growing list.
