Dana Stubblefield he is on his way to being a free man. his rape conviction was overturned last week, and according to the former NFL star’s lawyers, his first order of business when he gets out will be a bunch of family time.
Kenneth Rosenfeld and: Allen Sawyer sat back TMZ Sports Just days after a California appeals court overturned Stubblefield’s prison sentence … and they said he’s “euphoric” about the decision and is now looking forward to hanging with his loved ones.

“He’s going to be with his family,” Sawyer said of Dana’s immediate plans. “If there’s one thing Dana misses most, it’s being with his family.”
Stubblefield was sentenced in 2020 to 15 years to life in prison after being convicted of raping a woman in a 2015 incident.
Prosecutors allege the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback lured a woman to his home in Northern California to talk about a babysitting job and then sexually assaulted her at gunpoint, an allegation Stubblefield has vehemently denied, calling the sex consensual.
After his verdict, Rosenfeld and Sawyer argued that there were many problems with the trial;
The two attorneys told us Monday they were thrilled with the decision, and they are now filing a motion to get Stubblefield out of custody as soon as possible.
“He’s excited to be home,” Rosenfeld said. “He’s excited to be out. We always knew it was going to happen.”
As for when Super Bowl champion Stubblefield will open up publicly about the situation … Rosenfeld said it won’t be long before the 54-year-old explained: “He will tell his story when he gets out.”
“And he will tell about injustice.”
