Texans wide receiver Tank Dell Had to leave the field Saturday … after he was badly injured on a touchdown.
Houston’s leading man was playing at Arrowhead Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs … running a deep route into the endzone early in the second half of the game.
Texans WR Tank Dell will be sent to the locker room with a knee injury after scoring a touchdown in this game.

@AdamSchefter:
Quarterback CJ Stroud made a perfect pass to Deli, falling into his arms… but, to his teammate Jared Wayne was right next to him and dove looking for the ball. his body slamming into Delhi’s leg with full force.
Kudos to Tank Dell for holding the ball while his leg breaks
Hard.

Check out the side view… his knee appears to have bent the wrong way on impact, and after the impact he is clearly in agony and lying motionless as the trainers approach him.
People will take issue with that, but CJ Stroud caring so much about Tank Dell is what I want in a QB.
A true leader.

Even in the world of football, obviously a physically brutal game, this injury really affected the players on the field… Stroud and others were in tears after the hit.
No word on the exact nature of the injury has been released yet, but many online are speculating that it’s an ACL or MCL injury.
Dell played in 14 games this season… but missed a few games last season with a broken fibula, so he’s been dealing with an injury recently.
Entering today’s game, Dell has 45 catches for 569 and two touchdowns this season.
