Blake Lively has declared legal war against her former “It’s Over With Us” actor/director Justin Baldonipresenting his sexual harassment allegations and what he claims is a concerted effort to destroy his reputation, but Baldoni’s team has fired back, calling the allegations a bogus attempt to restore his reputation.
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, things got so bad on set that a meeting was held around the decks to address what he claims was a hostile work environment. Ryan ReynoldsAmong those present was Blake’s husband.
The lawsuit lists demands made … she says because of Baldoni’s behavior: no more showing Blake nude videos or images of women, no more mentioning Baldoni’s past “porn addiction,” no more discussions of sexual advances in front of Blake and others. , no more references to the cast and crew’s genitalia, no more questions about Blake’s weight, and no more mentions of Blake’s dead father.
There is also a requirement that “BL no longer add any sex scenes, oral sex, or camera climaxes beyond the scope of the script approved when BL signed on to the project.”
The lawsuit alleges that the demands were accepted and approved by the studio, but ultimately the film fell through due in part to a huge conflict over how it would be marketed focus on domestic violence.
Lively alleges that Baldoni and the company then engaged in a campaign of “social manipulation” to “destroy” Lively’s reputation. The lawsuit includes texts from Baldoni’s publicist to a studio publicist saying Baldoni “wanted to feel that (Ms. Lively) can be buried, and “We cannot write, we will destroy him.”
The lawsuit claims the campaign has damaged Lively’s business and caused her family “serious emotional distress.”
Baldoni’s lawyer, Brian Friedmancriticized the lawsuit, saying it was designed to “rehabilitate his negative reputation,” adding that the allegations were “false, outrageous, and deliberately pathetic with the intent to publicly offend.”
Friedman goes on to say that Lively was a nightmare on set, “threatening not to show up on set, threatening not to promote the film, which would ultimately lead to its demise upon release.”
As we’ve reported, this war has been going on for months…a war that includes claims Baldoni has asked his coach: How much did Lively weigh?. He felt it was embarrassing, but we’re told Baldoni says he asked because he had a bad back and was trying to protect it.
