Robert Vito No criminal charges will be filed after his arrest last month … although he will talk to the city attorney about alternative conflict resolution in the future.
The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office told TMZ … Vito will have an upcoming hearing with the city attorney where they will speak with him and discuss ways to avoid similar situations in the future.
After that, the case will be put on ice… and as long as he doesn’t get into trouble in the next year, he will never be charged.
We broke the story … it was an RV was arrested last month on domestic violence charges charge after police were called to his home for an alleged incident with his then-girlfriend Lindsay Jennings.
Sources told Us that Vito and Lindsay allegedly got into an argument that turned physical; Lindsey claims that at one point, Vito pushed their son and threw him onto the couch.
Officers claim they saw visible injuries on Lindsay’s body and arrested Robert … though a few weeks later the district attorney’s office said they no criminal charges have been filed. Now the city prosecutor will not even initiate a misdemeanor.
Vito’s lawyer, Bob M. Farhantells TMZ … while they don’t believe Robert should have ever been arrested, they do know law enforcement had limited information at the time of his arrest, only hearing Jennings’ side of the story.
Farrahan tells us Robert doesn’t condone physical or domestic abuse … and he’s looking forward to moving on from this incident and being an active father to his son.
