As the end of 2024 approaches, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has shared their dilemmas with me over the past year. For my holiday column, let’s address an almost universal complaint: holiday arguments.

It should come as no surprise that emotions run high during the holiday season. We hope to spend the day bonding over our shared past, but life is more complicated than a Christmas movie as old resentments bubble to the surface. Dip them all in rubbing alcohol and all it takes is a little spark to ignite the whole collection…
