The newsletter highlighted a viral social media post that included the names and salaries of eight health insurance CEOs, and some online users shared that it’s a “blank list that CEOs should be afraid of,” according to the newsletter. “Wanted” posters in Manhattan featured pictures of company executives and a bullet-shaped graphic warning, “UnitedHealthcare killed everyday people for profit. As a result, Brian Thompson was denied the right to life. Who will be denied next?” ” and “Wall Street CEOs shouldn’t feel safe, deny it, defend it, get rid of it.”

The NYPD bulletin also included multiple examples of people online expressing their belief that Thompson fully deserved to be killed based on his role in the insurance industry.

“My mom was denied chemotherapy multiple times and suffered terribly for the two years she lost her cancer because she was constantly denied…she will have life changing damage from this. Screw her,” one person wrote: according to the report.

A Reddit post cited in the newsletter said: “Politicians are compromised and corporations are suffocating us – all CEOs should be considered. It’s wonderful when your government is bought into by these CEOs who instantly influence the masses.”
