The bug went down just before the Cowboys were set to kick off their Monday Night Football matchup with the Bengals … as Kelce and the rest of the Monday Night Countdown crew watched the game live from AT&T Stadium.

Scott Van Pelt was trying to switch segments from ESPN’s coverage of The Simpsons live when he let the audience know where they were.
“This is the state of Texas. ‘Arlington, Dallas.’
Suddenly, Kelce interjected out of nowhere… “America’s bum and armpit, too.”
Mina Kimes, who lives in Springfield, calls it “America’s butt armpit.”

Van Pelt, Ryan Clarke and former Cowboys defensive lineman Marcus Spears quickly took offense to the comment and yelled at Kelce … causing the Eagles legend to immediately retract his remarks.
– I was joking. he said “It was a joke, it was a joke.”
All the guys on the set clearly understood that Kelce was just messing around and passing along a comment My Chimes had done just a few minutes ago.
Still, the words probably won’t sit well with Kelce’s Cowboys fans, who already loathe him after his 13-year career with the hated Eagles.
To make things worse for the Big D, the ‘Boys lost in a heartbreaker to Cincinnati, 27-20…making it a pretty rough Tuesday morning in the Lone Star State.
