BERWYN, Ill. — Far-right activist Nick Fuentes is headed to court this month after a woman accused him of pepper-spraying her when she showed up at his suburban Chicago home following X’s “Your Body, My Choice” message.

According to court documents, the 57-year-old woman approached Fuentes’ home in Berwyn on Nov. 10, shortly after his address was leaked after his post. The Chicago Tribune reported. Berwyn is a suburb of Chicago with a population of about 54,000.

The woman told the newspaper in a November 15 interview that his friends encouraged him to go to Fuentes’ house to see if the rumors that he was receiving prank deliveries after posting on X were true. He said he made a video of himself on the front sidewalk. Fuentes’ house. Another woman stopped in his car and told him to ring the bell.

Fuentes alleged that before the doorbell rang, he opened the door, sprayed pepper spray, screamed and grabbed the phone.

Fuentes, 26, has been charged with battery in connection with the incident, the newspaper reported. He will appear in court on December 19. He posted pictures of himself on his X account along with “Free me (racial slur)”.

He did not immediately respond to a message sent by The Associated Press through X on Saturday. Attempts to contact Eduardo Cervantes’ lawyer were unsuccessful.

Fuentes, a white supremacist who denies the Holocaust, is part of the bravado of right-wing “manosphere” operatives who have embraced Republican Donald Trump. presidential victory to increase misogynistic taunts and threats online.

Many of them have adopted the slogan of abortion rights, “my body, my choice”, changing it to “your body, my choice”. The turning point in the writing has largely been attributed to Fuentes’ X message of November 5: “Your body, my choice. Forever”.
