Jaylen Brown pays the price for how he marked his insane dunk on Detroit Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart … even though the league hit him with a hefty fine for it all.
A layup with 12 seconds left in the Celtics’ win over the Motor City on Wednesday night when Brown hit a nasty poster on Stewart to send TD Garden into a frenzy.

At this point, the 28-year-old made a point of making a throat-slitting gesture toward Stewart, and it turns out the NBA wasn’t a fan of the move … as the league announced he’ll have to fork over $25,000 for “on-court misconduct” to make a gesture.”

The fine probably didn’t surprise Brown … “because of the postgame,” he told reporters he expected to hear from the Association about the viral game.

While $25K may seem like an eye-popping number to quite a few people… Brown won’t actually feel the effects, as he signed a five-year, $304 million contract with the Cs back in July 2023.
Brown would go on and help lead Boston to a 130-120 victory Cade Cunningham and the Pistons … lead with 28 points, nine assists and six rebounds.
