The gunman who killed the CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson He arrived in New York by bus from Atlanta… TMZ confirmed.
Law enforcement sources tell us the alleged shooter arrived in the Big Apple 10 days before the Nov. 24 shooting … on a Greyhound bus to Manhattan’s Port Authority Station.
From there, we were told the suspect was checked into a dormitory.
Thompson was shot Wednesday morning outside the hotel in what police say was a targeted, planned attack by gunmen at the time fled the scene on a Citi Bike.
Our sources say law enforcement also interviewed a woman who worked at the dorm, who told investigators she flirted with the suspect and forced him to take off his mask … which is how police ended up with photos of the boy’s face.
The motive here is still unclear… but it’s worth noting bullet casings were inscribed in three words … “deny”, “remove” and “protect”.
CNN was the first to report that the suspect took a bus from Atlanta to New York.
