You Law loves Ryan day At Ohio State, after all, his Wolverines beat the coach four years in a row, but he says, TMZ Sports even if he wasn’t a Michigan grad… he would seriously encourage the school to keep the guy on their side.
Lowe made it clear Wednesday, just days after the Buckeyes dropped another game to their hated rival, 13-10, that despite Day’s recent inability to beat UM, he would still prefer to play with the 45-year-old for the foreseeable future.
“You really think about it,” Lowe said, “when you’re peeling onions, do you really want to fire a guy who’s always competitive, who’s always in the hunt for a national championship?”
“You can’t fire a guy just because he doesn’t beat one team,” he added.
Law acknowledged, however, that it would be beneficial for his beloved school if OSU saved the day.

@bmarcello:
“Hell, I’m biased,” he caved in. “Keep him, keep him, we’ve won four in a row, keep his ass there.”
Day has been at OSU since 2018, and he has compiled a 66-10 record as the university’s head coach. He has also won the Sugar Bowl and the Rose Bowl, and he has a solid run to Ohio State in this year’s National Championship Playoff. off picture.
But just 1-4 against Michigan, many people in Ohio are still calling for his gig; something Lowe believes they shouldn’t have done yet.
“I think we’re in over his head a little,” Lowe said. “But at the same time, he deserves to keep his job.”

As for the big brawl that followed this year’s UM vs. OSU replay… Law took the Wolverines to task for starting it, berating them for trying to flag down the road in a hostile environment.
