Jeff Bezos says barring the Washington Post, the paper he owns, from endorsing the presidential candidate last month was the right move, and he’s proud of the decision.
The Amazon founder and WaPo owner doubled down on the controversial decision — a sharp break with tradition — at the Dealbook Summit in New York on Wednesday.

But Bezos says he’s just trying to save the paper in the long run … vowing to continue coverage Biden, Trump and all future presidents “very aggressive”.
