The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will bring the 2024 Formula 1 season to a close this weekend, with the Constructors’ Championship continuing.
McLaren leads Ferrari by 21 points and a possible 44 going into Sunday’s Yas Marina Circuit race.
It’s been 26 years since McLaren last won the constructors’ title and Ferrari haven’t won it since 2008, so both teams are desperate for a long-awaited championship success.
Further down the line, Alpine are five points ahead of Haas in sixth, with millions of pounds at stake.
The drivers’ championship runner-up spot is also in the balance, with Lando Norris just eight behind Charles Leclerc in the race to overtake Max Verstappen in the standings.
Elsewhere, Mercedes will bid farewell to Lewis Hamilton after 12 seasons with the team before the seven-time world champion joins Ferrari.
Jack Doohan will make his F1 debut at Alpine after Esteban Ocon parted ways with the team after the Qatar Grand Prix.
The F2 championship is also coming to an end, with 2025 Sauber F1 driver Gabriel Bortoletto just half a point ahead of Izak Hajar.
The F1 Academy final will take place, with Britain’s Abbey Pulling looking to end the season in style.
