Five people are missing after a fishing boat capsized near Couverden Point, Alaska, according to the US Coast Guard.

The 50-foot fishing vessel sent the May call at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, the Coast Guard said.
AMHS Hubbard heard the broadcast and offered to help, arriving first on the scene.
Evidence of the fishing vessel was found, indicating a capsize, the Coast Guard said, but there is still no sign of those on board.
Good Samaritans who operate the ferry have continued to assist the Coast Guard in search efforts.
The Coast Guard said it also received a radio beacon alert indicating the distress position registered on the vessel. The signal originated south of Point Couverde in the Icy Strait.
People who knew the boat told authorities there were five people on board. The number is unconfirmed and subject to change, officials said.
The search is now underway amid heavy snow and high winds.
It includes both water-based and air-based missions, the latter being led by a helicopter search team.
The wind is 60 mph in the area, and the sea swell has reached 6 feet.
The Coast Guard said they were searching in “extremely difficult conditions”. However, there is no word yet on when or if the search will end.
