Hull City have sacked manager Tim Walter after 18 games.
Hull beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 on Tuesday night and are now nine games without a win in the Championship relegation zone.
The club finished seventh last season, three points outside the play-offs, but sacked manager Liam Rosenior in May before appointing Walter, who has won three of his 17 games and also suffered a Carabao Cup defeat.
Assistant coaches Julian Hubner and Filip Tapalovic also left the club.

First-team coach Andy Dawson has been appointed in an interim role while the club “conducts a thorough recruitment process for a permanent successor”.

“You see where Hull were last season, missing the play-offs by three points and the job Liam Rosenior did. Look at the squad and the squad they had. you have to bring out Jacob Greaves, Tyler Morton, Jaden Filogen, Fabio Carvalho, Liam Delap Walter was always going to be a challenge.
“You see the position they are in now. I watched them against Sheffield Wednesday, it was a poor performance. At the end of the day, we know football and managers get hired and fired when the results are right no, you pay the price.
“My brother will play against Middlesbrough. I spoke to him, we talked. It’s difficult for him, he’s been playing for a long time, we know it can happen.
“It’s going to go back to work and try to put things right because where they were last year is so disappointing.”
