Readers rated AI-mimicry of Shakespeare’s poems over the author’s actual works

Most readers cannot distinguish the classic works of poets such as William Shakespeare and Emily Dickinson from imitations created by artificial intelligence. And when asked which they prefer, they often choose AI poetry.
