Zac Bagans is planning to take his Ghost Adventures team to the famous Poltergeist house for his next personal investigation … TMZ has learned.
A paranormal expert tells TMZ … his team will head to the Simi Valley, Calif. home that featured heavily in the horror classic in mid-November with plans to investigate the more sinister aspects of the residence.
Zach says that their preliminary research indicates that the new owner was very affected by something inside the house…and that the homeowner specifically reached out to them in hopes of getting answers.
Zach and his team will be the first paranormal experts to ever investigate the house… hit the market This summer for the first time in 45 years.
According to the “Ghost Adventures” star, the new owner from Los Gatos, who hopes to transform the house; to Airbnb echoing the 1982 film. she was told they had 2 separate seizures inside the house.
Zach says the homeowner also told him they’ve had a sick feeling, nausea, shivering and a “stretching” sensation around the property… despite having no known health issues.
Apparently, at one point things got so bad that the owner had to sit on the stairs before he felt normal again.
Zach says he also spoke to a family member related to the previous owner … who found out that multiple relatives died in the house, including an uncle and grandfather.
For those unfamiliar with the Poltergeist franchise, many believe it to be cursed after the untimely deaths of its stars. Heather O’Rourke and: Dominic Dunn.
Despite all that, Zach makes it clear that he doesn’t come into the investigation with “any preconceived notions about being haunted at home.”
He adds … “But the fact that there have been at least two deaths and the house has been used extensively for a film with a very infamous curse attached to it calls for an investigation to see if the new owner’s claims can be substantiated. paranormal evidence using scientific equipment”.
ZB also plans to bring the original clown doll from the movie, which he has acquired for a whopping $80k in 2020.
